How many sessions will I need?

This depends on what we will be working together to treat.  Upon the intial visit I will be able to give you an idea of how many sessions you will require. Hypnotherapy is unlike councelling which is spread over 10-20 sessions. With Hypnotherapy we often need very few sessions to get the results you are looking for. Depending on the level of the condition, for severe cases of emotional disconnect it can take longer, but we can discuss this along the way. I wont leave you stranded!

Many of my Clients have had amazing results in just a few sessions or for quit smoking 1 extended  session, It varys. I am a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist with an incredible passion for positive change.

Is whatever we talk about confidential ?

Yes, as a member of The International Hypnotherapy Association, CNHC, GHR. We have a strict code of conduct & one of these is to totally respect Client confidentially. I wouldn’t even discuss anything we talked about even if another member of your family contacted me.

How much does a Professional Hynotherapy session cost ?

My rate is £70 per session* each studio session is personalised to you for 60 minutes.

*This excludes My IMF Stop Smoking & Vaping programmes which will last for 120-180 minutes. Please contact me for full package details & fees.

Is your Studio Secure, Safe & comfortable ?

My wife Nicky runs the Studio Karma Therapies on a part-time, flexible basis for Holistic & Beauty treatments. I share this space with her when it is not in use.

Whilst Hypnotherapy sessions are distanced well above 2 metres, I follow all the same cleaning guidelines as my wife does for her close contact treatments. Being clean is as much important for my family as yours & why would we settle for anything less on your visit. There are also seprerate Male & Female Toilets on the same floor as the studio. The Studio is on the first floor of the Wivenhoe Business Centre, it’s great to be able to offer my services in a clean, bright, professional setting. You will feel secure & comfortable in your surrounding which is important. It has been proved that Hypnotherapy works so much better when client & therapist actually meet.

I regular see clients from Colchester, Wivenhoe, Brightlingsea, Tendring, Clacton, Maldon, Halstead, St Osyth,  Harwich, Witham, Frinton On Sea, Tiptree, Mersea, Manningtree, Stanway, Chelmsford, London - all of Essex & beyond.

Many clients travel to my studio in Wivenhoe from various parts of the UK. They enjoy the calm & relaxing area of Wivenhoe some like to have a walk after their session/s.

Also I provide Online hypnotherapy sessions that are available wherever you have a good internet connection Worldwide.

Do you offer Online sessions & can these be for Companies to boost their staff morale & well-bieng ?

Absolutley, I offer 1 to 1 online sessions, worldwide via Zoom or MS Teams. I can do group sessions. Having run a large company myself I am fully aware & understand the need to look after the well-being of your workforce.

Do I lose control when under Hypnosis ?

No, you are in greater control of your mind during your hypnotherapy session than at any other point of the day.

Do I need to see a hypnosis professional, or can I use hypnotic Apps/ You Tube Clips and/or Podcasts instead, its seem easier & my friend has one on her phone that she listens too ?

That depends on several factors, including the nature and depth of your problem. General self-hypnosis tapes will give you only general results, but most clients make better progress when they are treated as individuals with individual problems. As a competent qualified caring hypnotherapist, I will listen to you on a one-to-one basis and endeavour to understand your needs and customize the session appropriately. You must also feel comfortable with your Hypnotherapist's techniques, level of experience, and professionalism. You must also like the sound of his or her voice, otherwise that could be a distraction to successfully entering hypnosis.

How Do I Find You ?

The Studio is based on the first floor at Wivenhoe Business Centre. When you arrive at the Business Centre please walk to the inside entrance, there are a small set of stairs on the left just as you walk in. Proceed up the stairs, you will pass a kitchen, Ladies & Gents Toilets then the Studio is at the end. There is free parking on site which is generally available but there can be busy times. Other parking is also available close to the Business Centre, some free or a Pay & Display at Cooks Shipyard - which Is £1.00 for up to 2 hours or 50p up to 1 hour, it’s a 1-2 minute walk from there to the Studio. Wivenhoe Business Centre is a 6-10 minute walk from Wivenhoe Train Station.

Also after the session/s if you have time, treat yourself to a walk along the beautiful front of Wivenhoe if the tide is in or out it’s always a relaxing !
